Defining who I am …

There are times in our lives when it becomes important to us to define who we are.  The key is that we are defining who we are to ourselves, not to anyone else. Many many *cough* years ago, I started down the path of Wicca.  At first I focused on magick and casting spells.  Then … Read more

Action oriented world .. thinking optional

Sometimes it’s something as simple as seeing a sign that makes you consider how the world has changed. This morning, on the way to work, I noticed that the signs warning you that a lane was about to become exit only said “Thru traffic merge left”.  When I was younger, you were expected to understand … Read more

Midsummer at the Grove

This Midsummer, I was invited to a Druidic ritual at the Sierra Madrone Grove. This was to be my first ritual down my new path. I haven’t even taken the first oath for the Dedicant’s program yet! I have recently been taking a course on Courting Desire: the Soul’s Longing for Purpose by T. Thorn Coyle. The course focuses on knowing what you truly want to follow, and following that desire in order to be more in-tune with your live and generally be happier about things!

A day with my book

It is rare that I get the chance to sit down with my books and notes and actually create something in my Book of Shadows. Last weekend I finally did that.  The hard part is not the finding the time, as much as it is finding the time when I’m not doing something else.  There … Read more
